Before we get into the main topic, let me introduce ourselves, Human Science Co., Ltd.

Founded 38 years ago. Opened in 1985.

Since then, we have been supporting manual creation mainly in the manufacturing and IT industries.

 

We have established manual production methods using the latest overseas technology such as PowerPoint, Word-based manuals, GitHub, CMS, WikiWorks, and Confluence, as well as commonly seen manuals, and have received high satisfaction from our customers.

Why did we focus on Jamstack?

So why did we, who make a living creating such manuals, pay attention to Jamstack?

When consulting with our company about manual creation, we often hear cases where "the website hasn't been updated at all" or "it's not being utilized...". Perhaps some of our readers have also experienced these concerns about their internal websites?

Based on the above idea, it can be said that managing documents with open source is more efficient, cost-effective, and easy to maintain than managing them within the system.

The Jamstack architecture has unique advantages and development methods that are unmatched, and with the support of tools, Jamstack has been gaining attention in recent years and the number of websites adopting it has increased significantly.

 

In Japan, Jamstack is not yet widely adopted, but how about overseas?

In fact, all indicators are showing that Jamstack is growing.

 

First, the usage rate of promising students.

In reality, how is Jamstack being implemented in overseas sites?

 

Here we introduce a case study of Bejamas, a development company in Poland that is also a partner of our company.

 

Avenues, headquartered in NY, is a school that offers global education in four locations around the world as well as online.

The site was built on WordPress and has been in operation for over 6 years, targeting students.

 

As a result, maintenance became more complicated.

 

Dmitry Terner, the Web Site Manager of Avenues, wanted a website that was smoother, faster, and more comfortable to use on mobile devices.

In addition, we also wanted to reduce costs and maintain rationalization of development.
