Mitsubishi Electric provides a wide range of services, but in the field of power generation energy systems, they offer products such as generators, switchgear, transformers, and vacuum circuit breakers that support power generation, transformation, distribution, and power distribution. They also provide various systems such as plant monitoring, system stabilization, and system protection and control.

As the realization of a low-carbon society becomes a global theme, we are contributing to further energy conservation for power companies and households through the development of high-efficiency equipment and the strengthening of smart grid and smart community related businesses.

This time, in order to efficiently promote human resource development within the company, our consulting group was utilized and efforts were made to standardize the manual for non-routine tasks.

To tackle the manualization of non-standardized tasks, a working group was established within the company.

From our consulting experience in creating operation manuals, we first positioned one operation as a pilot manual creation process and strived to share the manual creation workflow within the working group.

Specifically, we have used a business organization sheet to thoroughly and comprehensively identify and reorganize tasks that were previously relying on individual knowledge, following the 5W1H perspective.

In addition, we have optimized the content of the manual from the perspective of what information should be known to the target readers and what information would be beneficial for them to know.
