Mitsubishi Electric is engaged in a wide range of businesses, but in the field of power generation energy systems, they provide products such as generators, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, and vacuum circuit breakers that support power generation, substations, power distribution, and power flow, as well as various systems for plant monitoring, system stabilization, and system protection and control.

As the realization of a low-carbon society becomes a global theme, we are contributing to further energy savings for power companies and households by developing high-efficiency equipment and strengthening smart grid and smart community-related projects.

This time, in order to efficiently promote human resource development within the company, we utilized our consulting services to work on the manualization of non-standard tasks.

A working group has been established within the company to work on the manualization of non-standard operations.

Based on our consulting experience in creating operational manuals, we first positioned one operation as a pilot manual creation process and made efforts to share the manual creation workflow within the working group.

Specifically, we have systematically identified the tasks that were previously reliant on individual know-how using a business organization sheet, ensuring nothing is overlooked, and reorganized them according to the 5W1H perspective.

In addition, we optimized the content of the manual from the perspective of what information should be known and what information would be good to know for the target audience of the manual.
