Customer Requests
--HS: Please tell us about the details of the project you have requested from Human Science.NEC Networks & System Integration: Since 2013, we have been requesting the production of animations and illustrations as part of our awareness activities aimed at accident prevention. Specifically, we animate the details, causes, and countermeasures of actual accidents, which are then displayed on internal signage. Additionally, we create content called "Near Miss News" based on near-miss cases collected from various sites and disseminate it both internally and externally.
Until spring 2015, we produced illustrations for Near Miss News in-house, but since then, we have been requesting HS to handle this. We currently request production every three months. Near Miss News itself is published twice a month, and we place orders for three months' worth at a time.

--HS: What challenges did you face while working on projects and business activities?
NEC Networks & System Integration: Our company began requesting animation production in 2013 and illustration production in 2015. Prior to that, we received reports of accidents and near-miss incidents from various sites in paper format and managed them in files. The main purpose at that time was to record and accumulate information.
However, as the entire company moved towards paperless operations, a significant accident prompted us to feel that the previous records were insufficient. There was a growing awareness that we should make better use of the data we had collected and utilize it to enhance safety awareness. Therefore, we started an initiative to visualize the report contents as animations and display them internally on signage. By strengthening our awareness activities in this way, we aim to enhance the overall safety consciousness of the company.

Reasons for Choosing Human Science
--HS: We have been working with your company for over 10 years since 2013.If you remember, please tell us the reason you decided to request Human Science and why you have maintained a long-term relationship with us.
NEC Networks & System Integration: The first request we made to your company was for a different project, unrelated to animation or illustrations. Through that project, we became familiar with your services, and subsequently, we began to request your current animation and illustration production projects as well. Since then, we have been in continuous partnership.
Customer Feedback from Clients
――HS: Please tell us about the challenges you faced during content creation, how it has been utilized after delivery, and the feedback within the company.NEC Networks & System Integration: The Hiyari Hat News is shared on the internal homepage and on a server accessible to our business partners, allowing employees to check it at any time. In content production, we focus on incorporating numerous cases reported from the field and examples of Hiyari Hat incidents that are likely to occur in each season, putting effort into the creativity of the content.
One challenge we faced during production was that the initial illustrations were understated and lacked impact. Therefore, we improved the design by incorporating more exaggerated expressions to make it easily understandable at a glance. For points that require specialized knowledge, such as terminology in specialized fields and the attire of workers, our company conducts verification. Additionally, by reflecting the monthly safety goals of society and industry trends, we are able to produce highly effective awareness content. Furthermore, the completed content is published on the internal homepage and signage, and by utilizing it as a poster for alerting in the field, we feel it significantly contributes to raising employees' safety awareness.
Implementation Effects and Evaluation of Human Science Co., Ltd.
--HS: Please tell us about your evaluation and areas for improvement regarding Human Science.NEC Networks & System Integration: As mentioned earlier, there were areas for improvement in the initial illustration production. However, over our long relationship, the expertise and visibility have improved, allowing for illustrations that can be understood at a glance. This has effectively instilled a sense of safety among employees who repeatedly view the signage.
Additionally, the illustrations and animations are being utilized not only internally but also by our external business partners, and we have received positive feedback.
Future Prospects
--HS: Please tell us about your future prospects.NEC Networks & System Integration: In recent years, looking at the results of the safety quality awareness survey conducted internally, we can see the thorough implementation of safety measures on-site and the improvement of each employee's safety awareness.
We intend to continue these activities in the future, striving to convey the importance of safety awareness to more people and to further expand it.
NEC Networks & System Integration: Thank you very much.
