Many people are interested in utilizing generative AI, represented by ChatGPT, to maximize productivity in translation and writing.

At Human Science, we are paying attention to the potential use of ChatGPT as a translation and checking tool for multilingual specialists in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. How can it be utilized as a tool for evaluating and checking translation quality in practical situations, such as multilingual translation of technical documents like manuals and help files?

We compared the evaluation by translators with the effort to use ChatGPT to proofread and evaluate in the following six languages using the LLM proofreading tool developed by Human Science.

Target Languages: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Russian, Dutch

In this seminar, we will introduce our efforts to use the LLM proofreading tool to conduct proofreading and evaluation of ChatGPT in 6 languages. From the perspective of professional multilingual translation,

・Engaged in translation projects from Japanese to English and multilingual versions as a Localization Specialist.
- Responsible for conducting quality evaluations and verifications of multiple machine translation engines, as well as researching and exchanging information on the latest trends in machine translation.
- Responsible for managing translation projects utilizing machine translation and involved in consulting such as developing post-editing guidelines.
