Learn from Case Studies! Translation Cost and Labor Reduction Know-How Seminar (Free on 2019/6/26)

On June 26, 2019 (Wednesday) at Human Science Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku, Tokyo)

Learn from Case Studies! Translation Cost and Labor Reduction Know-How Seminar

will be held.

In order to achieve "work style reform" and "productivity improvement," there is an increasing demand for business improvements to reduce costs and man-hours in translation operations within companies and universities. In such circumstances, many responsible individuals seem to be troubled by the thought, "I want to work on improvements, but I don't know where to start."

In this seminar, we will introduce three representative approaches to eliminate waste in translation operations and achieve efficiency: 1) optimization of the translation workflow, 2) utilization of translation support tools such as Trados and Memsource, and machine translation, and 3) standardization of Japanese documents, along with case studies.

Scheduled Case Studies

[Case Study 1: 20% Reduction in Man-Hours for an Industrial Equipment Manufacturer - Translation of Manuals and Specifications]
Optimization of the translation process, standardization of style guides, and maintenance of translation memory

[Case Study 2: 40% Reduction in Man-Hours - National University: Translation of Guide Maps, Admission Guides, etc.]
Implementation and Utilization of Translation Support Tools and Machine Translation

[Case Study ③ 50% Reduction in Man-Hours Robot Manufacturer Translation of User Manuals and Specifications]
Standardization of Japanese Documents (Improvements from the Original Text Used for Translation)
