Learn from case studies! Trados/Memsource/memoQ Translation Memory and Glossary Creation Know-How Seminar

Will be held.

We will share with you the key to improving translation QCD (quality, cost, and time) by utilizing translation support tools such as Trados Studio, Memsource, and memoQ. "Know-how for creating and maintaining translation memories and glossaries"!

Overview

Many companies have introduced translation support tools (CAT tools) such as Trados Studio, Memsource, and memoQ with the aim of improving translation productivity and reducing translation costs, but it seems that many companies have not achieved the expected results.

One of the challenges in operating translation support tools at such companies is the fact that "translation memories and glossaries are not being utilized effectively."

For example, do you have any of the following concerns?

- Cannot reuse the translated text as there are different expressions in the translation memory

- Translation memory creation and management is left to translation companies and translators, and is not being capitalized.

・I feel like the translation quality varies depending on the manual or document.

・There are no specific rules or standards when it comes to translation, and each translator or translation company translates according to their own policies.

- Although there is a glossary, it is not very useful because there are various terms mixed together.

Without proper management and operation of translation memory and terminology, the greatest benefit of introducing translation support tools, "accumulation and reuse of past translation assets," cannot be achieved and will become a wasted opportunity.

In this seminar, we will introduce the process and specific points for creating and maintaining translation memories and glossaries based on two case studies from an industrial equipment manufacturer and a university.

Why not take this opportunity to review the content, management, operation, and rules of your translation memory and terminology collection?

This is a reference for those who are looking to introduce translation support tools. If you are interested in considering specific actions to improve translation memory and terminology, please join us.

After the seminar, we will be happy to provide individual consultations as needed.

Please check the "Individual Consultation Request" box on the application form.

Feel free to join us!
