Manual Pro Talks! Case Study Seminar on Utilizing AI for Knowledge Sharing and Productivity Improvement
~ 2nd Edition: Efforts for Knowledge Sharing Using AI~

will be held.

———————————————————————————————————————

2024 is said to be the year when the results of utilizing generative AI will be questioned.

The introduction of generative AI is expected to maximize productivity by effectively utilizing the internal knowledge and assets accumulated so far, creating an environment where people can work more efficiently.

Human Science, which has supported corporate knowledge management so far, has been considering solutions to the problem of "knowledge being documented but not utilized," which is often encountered in knowledge sharing initiatives. Currently, we believe that by utilizing generative AI, we can solve this problem even more effectively and efficiently.

That said, there are various concerns regarding the use of generative AI in business. For example, "AI producing false information (hallucination)" and "not knowing the basis of the output information" are among them. These are critical concerns when incorporating it into knowledge management.

Therefore, Human Science has focused on a technology called Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). RAG is a system that searches for information from external knowledge bases such as internal regulations and company manuals, and generates responses using a large language model (see the figure below). It is said to be able to suppress hallucinations because it can access the latest and most reliable external information.

By using RAG, you can search for information in company regulations and internal manuals through communication tools like Slack. In other words, you can obtain the information you need from reliable sources via a familiar interface. RAG is an ideal method for advancing knowledge management effectively and efficiently.

In this second seminar, we will introduce our efforts in knowledge sharing using RAG. From the perspective of a manual professional skilled in organizing knowledge,
・Knowledge management using generative AI chatbots with RAG
・The quality of documents that promote knowledge management
We will present these topics along with demonstrations.

If you are considering the introduction of generative AI within your company or are looking for ways to utilize it, please join us enthusiastically.

Additionally, after the seminar, we will be available to discuss any concerns you may have.
