Maximizing Cost-Effectiveness with Machine Translation and Automatic Translation Post-Editing Seminar (10/4)

On October 4th, 2019 (Friday)

Maximizing Cost-Effectiveness with Machine Translation (Automatic Translation) Post-Edit Seminar

Will be held.

Since the announcement of machine translation engines equipped with neural networks from Google, Microsoft, Systran, and NICT, the accuracy has dramatically improved, and neural machine translation is becoming the standard for machine translation and automatic translation.

Human Science Co., Ltd. has been providing support for the introduction of neural machine translation, including Google Translate, since 2017. During this time, we have received feedback from our clients.

"Is it really cost-effective?"

"Can the translation quality be maintained?"

"Is it necessary to make corrections after machine translation?"

We have been receiving more and more inquiries like this.

If you prioritize quality, you can use the translated text using machine translation as it is. However, for documents such as product manuals where mistakes are not allowed, "post-edit" is necessary to correct the machine-translated text.

It is not cost-effective to introduce machine translation with "post-edit" work done by humans.

In this seminar, we will explain the post-editing process in machine translation, including:
・How much time and cost can be reduced specifically
・Examples of post-editing techniques

In addition, individual consultations will be held after the seminar for those who wish. Please check the individual consultation box on the application form.

Please feel free to apply!

Seminar Curriculum

1. Current Status and Cost Effectiveness of Machine Translation

2. Post-edit for improved cost-effectiveness

3. In the case of manufacturing industry manuals

 ・Reducing Workload with Tools
