Maximizing Cost-Effectiveness Machine Translation and Automated Translation Post-Editing Seminar (10/4)

On Friday, October 4, 2019

Maximizing Cost-Effectiveness: Machine Translation (Automated Translation) Post-Editing Seminar

will be held.

Since the announcement of neural network-based machine translation engines by Google, Microsoft, Systran, and NICT, the accuracy has dramatically improved, and neural machine translation is becoming the standard for machine translation and automatic translation.

Since 2017, Human Science has been supporting the introduction of neural machine translation, including Google Translate, and during that time, we have received feedback from our clients.

Is it really possible to expect cost-effectiveness?

Can the quality of translation be maintained?

Is it necessary to make corrections after machine translation?

We have been receiving more inquiries like this.

If you can compromise on quality, you can use the translated text generated by machine translation as is. However, for documents where errors are not acceptable, such as product manuals, a process called "post-editing" is necessary to correct the machine-translated text.

If post-editing is done by people, there is no point in investing in machine translation.

In this seminar, we will explain, including post-editing with machine translation,
- Specifically, how much time and cost reduction is possible
- The methods of post-editing based on example sentences
.

Additionally, for those who wish, we will conduct individual consultations after the seminar. Please check the box for individual consultation in the application form.

Please feel free to apply!
