"Transformation of Industrial Equipment Manuals Brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution" Speaking at TC Symposium 2018 Kyoto.

Panel Discussion at TC Symposium 2018 Kyoto on October 5th, 2018 (Tuesday)

"Transformation of Industrial Equipment Manuals Brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution ~ The Ideal Form of Usage Information in the Production Site Opened up by Internet Technology x TC Technology ~"

Tetsuya Nakajima, a manual creation consultant, will appear as a coordinator.

Purpose of Discussion Lecture Purpose

Product manuals for industrial equipment and devices used in production sites have been created from the manufacturer's perspective. In the age of IoT where various products from different manufacturers are connected through networks, TC will be left behind from the wave of Industry 4.0 if we continue to provide information on individual products without considering the users in the field.

Could TC contribute more to improving productivity and quality on site by closely coordinating with internet technology and managing all usage information, from product installation, operation, and maintenance manuals to on-site business manuals, in an overall optimized manner?

As the 4th Industrial Revolution progresses, engineers, internet researchers, and digital content creators who are working on improving production processes are gathering to explore the potential effects that can expand the areas where TC can be utilized in the production field, and to determine the ideal usage information for the future.
