Overview

This time, we will talk about "visualizing the challenges and improvements of manuals" as our theme.

Manual creation that is difficult to see the results of the efforts without easy-to-understand indicators such as sales.

In the production field, we hear various voices of concerns.

  • "I tried making a manual, but I haven't received any feedback from within the company or from customers, so I'm not confident if it's good enough."
  • "I took over the manual creation task, but when I tried to create it by imitating the previous person's manual, I was scolded by my boss."
  • "Even though I am busy with my own work, no one is helping me and I can't figure out what to ask for."
  • "Received instructions from my boss to create a manual, but without any explanation of the purpose or background of the manual, I have no choice but to work on it on my own."

Behind these voices, there seems to be a situation where the person in charge is struggling to create a manual while being caught up in their original duties, making it difficult to present the challenges and improvements of the manual and the results of their efforts.

To effectively carry out the creation and improvement of manuals with unclear results, it is necessary to visualize the current issues (AsIs) and clearly define the desired state (ToBe) before taking action. However, the reality is that corporate representatives have limited opportunities to learn about these methods.

  • "I want to know the current issues with manuals."
  • "I want to know the design method of the ideal form."
  • "We want to obtain agreement from stakeholders and draw out cooperation towards improvement."
  • "I want to visualize the results of improvement and report them to my boss."

In this seminar, we will introduce our approach to addressing the above challenges based on our track record of consulting.

For those who are about to work on improving internal manuals, those who are currently working on it but are not confident in their methods or approach, those who are doing well but want to compare their methods with those of other companies, please join us for information gathering.
