Why does knowledge management fail?
~Two steps to connect sharing to utilization~

will be held.

———————————————————————————————————————

This time, the theme is "How to Achieve Effective Knowledge Management."

Recently, the term "knowledge management" has become quite common. Upon re-evaluating its definition, knowledge management refers to a management approach that involves sharing and utilizing the experiences and knowledge held by individuals throughout the organization to create new knowledge.

Promoting knowledge management, strengthening organizational capabilities, and streamlining human resource development are essential initiatives for efficient corporate management.

When creating project proposals and specifications for new products, are you spending a lot of time searching for reference information from past materials?

Have you ever looked at the materials created by your subordinates and thought, "I wish they had referenced the materials from that past project..."?

If you can quickly find past assets, you can spend time on creating the essential body. This is precisely the effect of knowledge management.

However, it seems that although a system for sharing knowledge has been established, there are many cases where it cannot be effectively utilized.

Please take a look at the graph below.

Although knowledge sharing is possible through manualization and database creation, it seems that it is not being utilized.

"Even though it is searchable, why isn't it being utilized?" Those of you who are thinking this may be facing such a situation on-site.

・They do not even search because they are unaware that the information they desire exists as knowledge.

・There is too much knowledge, and I cannot find the necessary information even when I search.

・Even if you find knowledge, it is difficult to understand and cannot be used

To overcome this situation, it is necessary to create an environment where knowledge can be easily found and to improve the clarity of the knowledge itself.

In this seminar, we will introduce an approach to knowledge management that combines the knowledge utilization solution "Knowledge Explorer" developed by Zuken Prisite, which enables the creation of an environment where knowledge can be easily found, and the methods of Human Science Co., Ltd., which specializes in improving the clarity and promoting the utilization of internal knowledge represented by manuals.

This is a practical content that introduces the distinctive features of "Knowledge Explorer," which enables effective utilization of knowledge, along with workshops that cultivate the ability to visualize the complexities of knowledge.
If you are on a mission to promote knowledge management or feel challenges in utilizing knowledge within your department, we encourage you to participate.

Additionally, after the seminar, we will accept consultations for any issues you may have.
