Learn from Case Studies! Trados/Memsource/MemoQ Translation Support Tools
Problem Solving Seminar
Know-how for Standardization of Translation Operations and Improvement of Productivity - Workshop Included
will be held.
Based on our experience in improving translation operations for manufacturing and IT companies using translation support tools such as Trados, Memsource, and MemoQ,
"Key Points for Standardizing Translation Operations and Improving Productivity"
will be shared!
Overview
Many companies have introduced translation support tools (CAT tools) such as Trados Studio, Memsource, and MemoQ to improve translation productivity and reduce translation costs, but it seems that they have not achieved the expected results.
・Translating without any standards, resulting in non-standardized translation quality in the translation memory
・The creation and management of translation memories are left to outsourced translation companies or translators. They are not being capitalized.
・The degree of utilization of translation memory and translation support tools varies by the person in charge.
- Introduced translation support tools, but not utilizing them at all
Translation support tools are software that allows you to register pairs of original texts and translations in a database when translating large volumes of documents.
It is suitable for the translation of user manuals and technical documents that contain many standard expressions and are of large volume.
In this seminar, we will introduce specific points and improvement examples to solve challenges in translation work and the operation of translation support tools, and to achieve results.
In the workshop, we will conduct chart-based diagnostics and workflow organization to understand where the current translation operations have challenges and consider directions for future improvements.
If you have already introduced translation support tools but are not managing them well, or if you are considering introducing translation support tools, please join us.
After the seminar, we will provide individual consultations as needed.
Please check the "Request for Individual Consultation" box on the application form.
Feel free to join us!
