Utilizing AI Automatic Voice in Multilingual Localization

Will be held.

More and more companies are considering creating videos using audio, such as video manuals and educational materials.
However, when outsourcing the creation of narration audio to a narrator, there are various challenges such as schedule and cost.
In order to solve these problems, we would like to introduce the flow and examples of utilizing automatic audio by AI that we are actually doing at our company.

Target Audience

・Considering creating instructional videos and educational materials with audio

・Considering expansion to multiple languages, not just English, including Asian languages

- We want to reduce the cost of narration recording and shorten the schedule.

・Human Science Business Development Department Service Manager
・Since joining the company in 2000, I have been engaged in consulting for manuals and documents for domestic manufacturing (heavy industry, electronics) and IT-related companies for 17 years.
・Responsible for manufacturing industry in the Chubu region, with a focus on Aichi Prefecture since 2013
・In recent years, I have been involved not only in manual creation and human translation, but also in consulting for machine translation.

Mayuko Ota

・Engaged in translation projects from Japanese to English and multilingual versions as a Localization Specialist.
- Responsible for conducting quality evaluations and verifications of multiple machine translation engines, as well as researching and exchanging information on the latest trends in machine translation.
- Responsible for managing translation projects utilizing machine translation and involved in consulting such as developing post-editing guidelines.

Yui Takahashi

・Localization Project Manager
・Engaged in translation projects for domestic manufacturing (heavy industry, electronics) and IT-related companies since joining the company.
・Currently involved in multilingual translation and translation quality management of FA-related products, product manuals, help, and business manuals.
