On 5/16, we will present "Post-Editor Training Framework - Adapting to Neural Machine Translation" at TAUS.

We will be presenting "Post-Editor Training Framework for Neural Machine Translation" at the TAUS Executive Forum 2018 on May 16, 2018 (Wednesday).

As machine translation technology continues to evolve rapidly and the demand for solutions using neural machine translation (NMT) increases, translation companies are in need of more post-editors (those who revise machine translations).

In addition, it is very important to train post-editors in order to meet the final quality requirements.

What are the optimal guidelines for NMT?

What kind of personnel is suitable for post-editing work?

What should a translation company do before handing over files to a post-editor?

In this presentation, we will discuss these challenges while incorporating survey results on machine translation/post-editing.

TAUS is an abbreviation for Translation Automation Users Society, a membership organization composed of companies and other members related to translation. It promotes innovations such as machine translation and cloud translation.

Engaged in translation work at a document production company since 2006.

Joined Human Science in May 2017 after working at a foreign translation company.

Previously worked as a Project Manager, Translator, and Reviewer.
