[Seminar] A Must-See for Business Improvement Personnel! How to Create and Review Manuals that Help with Business Improvement (1/30)

Manual Creation Seminar on January 30, 2020 (Thursday) in Shinjuku, Tokyo

A Must-See for Business Improvement Personnel! How to Create and Review Manuals that Help with Business Improvement

will be held.

*This seminar is the same content as the seminar held on December 5, 2019 (Thursday).

———————————————————————————————————————

It is necessary to work on improving manuals for business improvement, but...

  • ・I was tasked with improving the manual with a focus on business improvement, but I don't know what the goal of the improvement should be.
  • - With multiple departments, there is no shared standard for what kind of manuals the company should have, making it difficult to determine the direction for improvement.
  • I would like other departments to work on improving the manuals, but I am struggling with how to present quantitative evidence rather than qualitative.

As work style reforms are being promoted, many companies are embarking on initiatives for business improvement, and as part of this, an increasing number of companies are focusing on reviewing and organizing their operational manuals.

However, such initiatives often face challenges in setting goals and measuring effectiveness, and it seems that many responsible individuals are anxious about how to proceed.

Manuals tend to have subjective judgments regarding their quality, making it difficult to objectively measure the effectiveness of improvements. In many cases, if one recklessly starts improvements or makes mistakes in the approach, the efforts can end up being wasted.

However, in order to properly measure the effects of improvements and achieve results that lead to business enhancements,

  • 1. First, organize the current issues and needs related to the manual.
  • ② Clearly define the priority of issues and ensure a common understanding among stakeholders regarding the purpose and effects of improvements

is necessary.

We believe that by sharing perspectives on what the current issues are, what the priority issues should be, and what the desired state of individuals (or things) should be after improvements, we can finally stand at the starting line for manual improvement.

In this seminar, we will introduce the know-how for advancing manual improvements that deliver tangible results recommended by our company, which supports business improvement as a manual production company.

We also conduct document analysis workshops using actual manuals as materials, so the content is designed to be immediately applicable when taken back to your company. This is definitely something that business improvement personnel who are looking to work on manual enhancements should refer to.
