What is Trados?

A tool that allows translators to translate while registering pairs of original and translated texts in a database called a translation memory. When the same or similar original text appears, the translated text registered in the translation memory is referenced and reused for translation.

Consulting Flow

This is particularly effective for translating similar sentences that are repeated or for manuals and specifications that require frequent revisions, as a significant portion of past translations can be reused.

Benefits of using Trados

Cost Reduction: Translated text can be reused from translation memory, so there is no need to translate it again, and the translation fee is set low according to the reuse rate.
When translating documents with a high reuse rate or many repetitions from previous versions, there is a significant cost reduction effect.
