The Process of Japanese Translation and Localization
At Human Science, we handle all processes from translation, DTP editing, to software localization in a consistent system.
Additionally, by assigning a project manager to oversee everything, we will consolidate the point of contact with our clients.
In general, when the person in charge changes for each process, communication can become redundant, and it may be necessary to tailor responses to the type of each person in charge, leading to unnecessary effort.
To reduce such burdens on our clients, we have adopted a policy of consolidating our points of contact.

As an example, if a 40,000-word manual is translated from scratch, the estimated duration of the work is as shown in the following figure.

Estimated workload for 1 translator: 2,000 words per day.
Assuming a workload of 4,000 words per day for 1 reviewer.
