We will present on the theme "Taking a Step Beyond 'Easy to Understand' with UX Writing - Considering UX Improvement in Manuals" at the TC Symposium 2019 Tokyo.

On August 28, 2019 (Wednesday), at TC Symposium 2019 Tokyo

"Taking a Step Beyond 'Clarity' with UX Writing - Considering UX Improvement in Manuals" will be presented.

Example

As it is said, "From product consumption to experience consumption," users are seeking "good experiences" rather than just products. Accordingly, companies are working to improve the user experience (UX) of their products and services.

In manual production, we have pursued "easy to understand" and "easy to use" from the perspective of TC. From now on, we need to take a step further and make efforts to provide users with a "good experience" that makes them feel "happy" and "meets their expectations."

This presentation proposes the application of "UX writing" to design the words that connect users with products and services to enhance the UX of manuals.
