On August 29, 2018 (Wednesday), at TC Symposium 2018 Tokyo

"Start Small with Data-Driven Approaches - Break Down Barriers with Development Teams!" will be announced.

Example

Many companies are managing information assets in duplicate because the systems for managing manual data differ between departments.

To effectively manage and utilize information assets within a company without waste, it is effective to implement CMS and enterprise-level ERP products company-wide. However, full-stack systems often have high implementation costs, and it is frequently difficult to make partial functional expansions or alternatives.

To address these challenges, we were able to build an affordable information sharing system that transcends departmental boundaries by uniquely combining version control systems (GitHub) and open-source technologies (AsciiDoc and Redpen).

This presentation will introduce an example of building a "easy to start and highly scalable" system that solved the data management challenges of Yamaha Corporation.
