Approach to improving quality and productivity through machine translation

  • At Human Science, we take a neutral stance and do not develop or sell our own machine translation engine.
  • We offer the optimal process tailored to the characteristics of each engine in the market.
  • In this presentation, we will discuss the features of BeGlobal and the effective process that is tailored to those features.
  • We will introduce specific examples. Mainly for those who are considering introducing machine translation engines.
  • This is targeted towards those who are looking to effectively utilize machine translation for document translation, such as manuals.

SDL BeGlobal Product Introduction

  • SDL BeGlobal has been on sale since 2002 under the name Language Weaver.
  • A highly experienced machine translation engine (software).
  • Since 2010, we have expanded our features and sales packages to serve more customers.
  • BeGlobal has also changed its name. As a statistical analysis-based machine translation engine, it supports a large number of languages.
  • We also have a reputation for quality in European languages. For users with translation memory,
  • The ability to use that data for machine translation engine training,
  • Due to its ability to connect directly to SDL Trados Studio, MTrans for Trados is a valuable tool for technical writing and translation companies based in Tokyo.
  • Post-edit is also widely used in the field of practical translation where it is required.
