Approaches to Machine Translation for Improving Quality and Productivity

  • At Human Science, we take a neutral stance and do not develop or sell our own machine translation engine.
  • We propose the optimal processes tailored to the characteristics of each engine available in the market.
  • In this presentation, we will discuss the features of BeGlobal and the effective processes built to match those features,
  • We will introduce based on specific examples. This is mainly for those considering the introduction of machine translation engines,
  • This is aimed at those who want to effectively utilize machine translation for document translation such as manuals.

SDL BeGlobal Product Introduction

  • SDL BeGlobal has been sold under the name Language Weaver since 2002,
  • This is a machine translation engine (software) with extensive experience.
  • Since 2010, we have expanded our features and sales packages to be used by more customers.
  • We have also changed our name to BeGlobal. As it is a statistical analysis-based machine translation engine, it supports a large number of languages,
  • We also have a reputation for quality in European languages. If you are a user with translation memory,
  • That data can be used to train the machine translation engine,
  • Because it can be used directly connected to SDL Trados Studio,
  • There is also a lot of practical experience in the field of translation that requires post-editing.
