Corporate websites and document sites are often the first point of contact for users and can be considered the face of a company. However, many service-providing companies prioritize resources towards developing their services, resulting in corporate websites that have not been updated for a long time. This is especially prevalent in emerging SaaS companies, where there may not be a designated person responsible for managing and operating the corporate website/document site, or their responsibilities may be unclear, leading to cases where the site remains unchanged since the service's initial launch.


As a result, it seems that many users are having difficulty using the service due to factors such as the user interface not being optimized for smartphones and slow page loading times, which prevents them from using the service. As an example, Amazon has estimated that a 1-second delay in site loading time could result in a decrease of approximately 170 billion yen in annual sales. This shows that optimizing the site is an important issue that cannot be ignored.


In addition, as the management, there are many cases where we outsource the production without clear technical selection and introduce existing CMS such as WordPress as proposed. However, when actually using it, there are many challenges such as the content update being time-consuming and continuing to operate with security issues.


In this seminar, we will introduce the new web development framework, Jamstack, and showcase real corporate website case studies as well as our document management system developed with Jamstack. As Jamstack is expected to become the standard technology in the future, we highly encourage you to join us.

  • ・Afterwards, he worked at image sources and Dentsu's subsidiary, Dentsu Avenue Razorfish (now: Dentsu Isobar), before working as an Integration Manager at PayPal Japan.
  • ・As a member of the initial team at myGengo (now Gengo), I was involved in the launch of the service and later developed and managed the eBay listing service "Nijuyon" after leaving PayPal.
  • ・Currently living in Amsterdam. Involved in web projects using technologies such as PWA and Jamstack with several development companies in Ukraine.
