Job Description
You will assist with translation coordination tasks that involve translating documents for various clients, including major manufacturers, into multiple languages (sometimes exceeding 20 languages).
Your work will include managing workflow progress, quality control tasks (such as checking), and managing external staff.
Specifically, the tasks are as follows.
① Translation preparation work and communication with domestic and overseas translators
② Checking work using tools
③ Layout checking work after DTP
④ Ordering and billing processing for subcontractors
* You will belong to a project team and work together with the team members.
This is not a job where you do the translation yourself, but it involves working with various languages.
(The languages involved include English, Asian languages, and European languages such as FIGSR (French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian).)
Work from home is assumed. We are only accepting applications from those who have an environment where they can work at home.

This is a weekday-only job.

Qualifications and Skills
・Junior college or higher
・Office work (PC) experience
・Those who are open to learning new tools
・Those with practical experience in business communication in English (frequent creation of documents and exchange of emails in English)
・Able to respond flexibly to changes in plans
・Those with experience using TRADOS
・Those with practical experience in production progress management
・Able to input text using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Those with the following experience and skills are welcome.
- Those with practical experience in the translation industry or related fields
- Those with practical experience in proofreading work
- Those with experience handling languages other than Japanese and English
・A person who can progress work while communicating with various people, both inside and outside the company
- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

You can interact with various clients and be exposed to different languages, which broadens your own knowledge. There were some tools I used for the first time, but my senior kindly taught me, so I feel reassured.

Salary
Hourly wage: 1,600 yen or more
Monthly salary: 256,000 yen (based on 8 hours per day, 20 days per month)
Bonus (paid twice a year)
Work-from-home allowance (7,000 yen/month)
*The initial contract (1 month) is considered a probationary period, with an hourly wage of 1,600 yen. Upon the second contract renewal, the hourly wage will be discussed based on your experience and skills.
Commuting transportation expenses paid separately (up to 24,000 yen/month)

Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo (Shinjuku Dai-ichi Seimei Building)
* JR Shinjuku Station - 10 minutes on foot
Toei Oedo Line Tochomae Station - 2 minutes on foot
Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line Nishi-Shinjuku Station - 5 minutes on foot
Primarily work from home (with office attendance once a month)
Work from home (telework) will continue for the time being.
* Those living in remote areas can work fully remotely.
* Those who live within a commuting area are expected to come to the Shinjuku headquarters about once a month.
Working Hours
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
■ Flextime system available
・Standard working hours: 8 hours/day with a 60-minute break
・Core time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
*There is basically no overtime, but overtime may occur during busy periods (overtime pay provided).
Shortened working hours are negotiable (working during core time is mandatory)

・123 annual holidays (2024 results) [120 or more annual holidays]
・Complete two-day weekend system (Saturday and Sunday)
