Education Consultant

PROFILE

After graduating from university, I mainly worked as a web designer. After leaving my previous job, I studied abroad in the UK for about a year and joined Human Science in 2013. Currently, I work as both a consultant and designer in the Education Solutions Department, providing proposals for education support and conducting seminars and training sessions as an instructor. Our seminars, which incorporate a designer's unique perspective and creative ideas, have been highly praised.

JOINReason for Joining the Company

Felt a refreshing company culture

My previous job was as a web designer, where I designed websites for our company's services. After that, I studied language and graphic design in the UK for about a year. Upon returning to Japan and looking at various companies, I felt that our interview was very open and relaxed, allowing for a frank exchange of opinions about my past experiences and future goals. This made me feel that the company has a great and open-minded culture, which ultimately led me to join. While I was also considering web design companies during my job search, I was drawn to Human Science due to their expanding business and comprehensive education solutions that support our clients' operations.

CAREERFrom Joining to Now

At first as a designer

For the first two years after joining the company, I worked as a web designer creating e-learning content. After that, I started giving seminars related to education as a lecturer. I now visit companies that have already introduced e-learning or are planning to do so, and provide support for building educational systems and give lectures on how to create e-learning content. Our team currently consists of five members, including former writers and designers like myself, and we work to utilize each member's expertise for each client's specific needs.

WORKCurrent Business Content

Education Support Specialist

Currently, in addition to supporting internal development for individual companies, we also engage in external sales activities such as proposing new ideas to existing customers and participating in exhibitions to hold seminars. In cases where we receive inquiries from new customers, we first conduct interviews and then make proposals to solve their issues.
The concerns of our customers vary depending on their industry and size, and there are often high levels of expertise required for educational content. With our extensive experience and skills in e-learning content creation, we approach creating the best education solutions together with our customers, leveraging our strength as e-learning professionals.

WORTHWHILEJob Satisfaction

Always strive for improvement

Because of the small and elite team, individuals have a lot of discretion, which allows them to constantly improve their consulting skills and feel the impact of their work. For example, in a typical seminar, the instructor tends to talk one-sidedly, which can cause some people to get bored and fall asleep. Recently, I have made an effort to participate as a facilitator by providing opportunities for participants to engage in discussions. This has resulted in visible improvements in the participants' reactions and significantly better responses in surveys. When I receive direct words of thanks or am able to secure a contract on the spot, I feel truly grateful and fulfilled. While there are challenges in taking on tasks that go beyond past experiences, I feel a sense of fulfillment every day that exceeds my expectations when I first joined the company.

FUTUREFuture Goals

Improve your skills and build up your achievements

Our team is still in the process of development. First of all, I believe that each member of the team should work together to improve their skills and build a track record, including seminars and proposals to clients, as consultants.
Personally, I believe that my role is to further improve what I have been doing so far, rather than trying something new, and become an "indispensable presence" for our clients.
Also, as something I want to take the lead in, I would like to hold seminars to improve the level of proposals and presentations within the company, and share the knowledge and expertise we have gained within the company.
