[End][Seminar] "Let's Utilize DITA - Key Points for Implementation, Production, and Operation to Keep in Mind" (Held on 3/17)

*This seminar has ended.

On March 17, 2016 (Thursday), we will hold the 1st DITA Seminar "Let's Utilize DITA - Key Points for Implementation, Production, and Operation to Keep in Mind."

Recently, technologies such as content reuse and automated typesetting have gained attention from the perspective of cost-effective document production and efficient document management and operation. In particular, DITA, which is an architecture compliant with XML, has been widely adopted, especially in Europe and the United States, and the number of companies implementing it in Japan is increasing year by year.

However, the history of DITA in Japan is still short, and the know-how for the introduction and operation of DITA has not yet spread to the general public. As a result, there are situations where it is difficult to assess the benefits of implementing DITA, or where DITA has been implemented but is not being operated effectively.

Our company has been accumulating knowledge and experience at the forefront of DITA by engaging in consulting related to DITA, producing DITA documents, conducting research and information exchange in the Content Localization Working Group of the DITA Consortium Japan, and making presentations at DITA Festa.

In this seminar, titled "Let's Utilize DITA - Key Points for Implementation, Production, and Operation to Keep in Mind," we will clearly convey the challenges such as "What kinds of failures are common with DITA?" and the effective methods to avoid these failures, based on the cases our company has been involved with. We look forward to your participation if you are interested in DITA.

This time, we are co-hosting with SDL Japan.

We will also discuss DITA from the perspective of CCMS vendors, focusing on the most supported "SDL LiveContent Architect" in the world, which is an essential component content management system (CCMS) for managing and operating DITA.
