I will give a lecture at the special session of TC Symposium 2014 (sponsored by Technical Communicator Association) on August 26, 2014 (Tuesday).

This is the practical edition of "First Video Manual" that was well received at last year's TC Symposium.

Purpose of the Lecture
Learn effective ways to use annotations and narration in video manuals.
In last year's session, "Introduction to Video Manuals," we explained the basic concepts and processes for creating video manuals.
This session will cover more practical content for creating video manuals.
Lecture Points
Videos are composed of various elements such as images, movements, captions, and narration.
In order to effectively use each element, it is necessary to understand their characteristics and distribute information accordingly.
In particular, problems such as being too long or too vague can occur when using captions and narration.
We will explain how to use captions and narration in a balanced and more effective way, while addressing the concerns faced by production teams.
