Shaping the Future of Learning Support with the Latest Moodle x CampusLA ~
Moodle, a digital learning platform that continues to evolve in educational institutions worldwide.
The vast amount of learning logs accumulated through daily class management are the definite "learning traces" showing each student's efforts and growth.
Noticing the small signs hidden within these logs early and providing support at the right timing is becoming the most important aspect of university education going forward.
In this seminar, we will introduce the features and functions of the latest version of Moodle, which is key to data collection, and present a system that uses the new features of "CampusLA," released in March 2026, to quickly detect signs of academic difficulties and enable early outreach to students.

Introduction of New Features in the Learning Analytics System "CampusLA" — Early Detection of Learning Difficulties and Realization of Data-Driven Personalized Support —
As discussions on the "new evaluation" system progress, it has become more important than ever to carefully monitor how each student makes efforts and grows through their daily learning. In this session, we will introduce the new features of the learning analytics system "CampusLA," released in March 2026. The function that early identifies students struggling academically based on data such as attendance, quiz participation rates, and report submission rates captures "signs" before grades are finalized, enabling early support before it becomes too late. In the latter half, we will also introduce how to use Moodle to facilitate analysis with CampusLA.
