Web seminar on November 27, 2020 (Friday)

What is Jamstack?
~ A New Corporate/Document Site for the COVID Era ~

will be held.

The corporate website and documentation site, which serve as the user's first contact, can be considered the face of the company. However, in many service-providing companies, resources are allocated to the development of the service itself, resulting in the corporate site not being updated for a long time. This trend is particularly strong in emerging SaaS companies, where there is often no person responsible for considering the management and operation of the corporate/documentation site, or the scope of responsibility is unclear, leading to many cases where the site is left as it was at the time of service launch.

As a result, it seems that there are many cases where users experience difficulties, such as the user interface not being optimized for smartphones and slow page load times, which leads to not utilizing the service. For example, Amazon has estimated that a 1-second delay in site load time results in a decrease of approximately 170 billion yen in annual sales. This indicates that site optimization is a challenge that cannot be overlooked.

Additionally, as an operator, there have been many cases where production was outsourced without clear technical selection, or existing CMSs like WordPress were implemented as proposed. In practice, this has led to challenges such as difficulties in updating content and continuing operations while facing security issues.

In this seminar, we will introduce Jamstack, a new web development framework, along with case studies of actual corporate sites and a document management system developed by our company using Jamstack. Since Jamstack is expected to become a standard technology in the future, we encourage you to participate.
