On Friday, August 24, 2017, at TC Symposium 2017 Tokyo
"Industrial Translation and Neural Machine Translation: Key Points from Case Studies" will be presented.
Many papers have shown that the translation quality of machine translation engines using neural networks has greatly improved compared to traditional statistics or rule-based methods.
However, there is not much information shared about utilizing neural machine translation in industrial translation.
This presentation will demonstrate the cost and schedule benefits of applying neural translation in industrial translation, as well as the specific issues and solutions unique to industrial translation.
Language pairs include English to Japanese and Japanese to English.
