Free Machine Translation Seminar on May 31, 2017 (Wednesday)
"We will be holding a seminar to support the introduction of machine translation for realizing work style reform!"
In order to achieve "workstyle reform", improving work efficiency and productivity has become a major challenge for companies in various industries and business types in Japan. In such a situation, the introduction of machine translation is also progressing in departments that create manuals and technical documents for domestic companies as one of the efforts to improve work efficiency and productivity.
・We want to streamline the translation work that has been done by in-house translators and improve productivity per person.
・I want to translate documents that have not been translated due to reasons such as short delivery time and large volume.
- Instead of being caught up in translation work right in front of you, I want to spend time on higher value-added work.
- We also want to reduce costs and shorten lead times for translation work outsourced to external sources.
As a result of these needs, the number of domestic companies introducing machine translation for the improvement and streamlining of translation work is increasing.
Recently, machine translation engines equipped with neural network mechanisms have emerged, and machine translation has gained significant attention due to the dramatic improvement in translation accuracy. It is now possible to reduce the workload of translation while maintaining the same level of quality. However, in order to effectively utilize machine translation and implement work style reforms, it is essential to conduct cost-effectiveness evaluations, design workflows, and gain agreement from stakeholders before implementation.
In this seminar, we will explain to the representatives of companies considering the introduction of machine translation how machine translation is being utilized in domestic companies, and the steps to successfully implement machine translation. We will also introduce case studies of machine translation implementation in various companies. If you have previously considered implementing machine translation but gave up midway, or if you have implemented it but were unable to achieve the desired results, we encourage you to attend.
After the seminar, we will be happy to provide individual consultations as needed. Please check the "Individual Consultation Request" box on the application form.
