Utilizing Tools for Checking

Prevent errors with tool checks

In manual translation and brochure translation, errors in numbers, unit symbols, and standard phrases can lead to serious problems and damage the trust of users.
At Human Science Co., Ltd., we use Trados and our own developed proofreading tools to check the translation of expressions and terminology. This ensures that errors that cannot be caught by human eyes are prevented.
After delivery, there is no need for customers to go through the trouble of checking formalities such as numbers and unit symbols.

Quality Management

At Human Science Co., Ltd., we have a dual system of checks by both people and tools.

  • Are there any spelling mistakes?
  • Are the numbers in the original text and the translated text correct?
  • Is the terminology specified by the customer being used correctly?

For points that are prone to being overlooked by visual checks alone, we use Trados and our own developed proofreading tools to conduct checks. This saves our clients the trouble of checking formalities such as numbers and unit symbols after delivery.

In particular, when dividing a large amount of translation among multiple translators in a short period of time, using tools to check for consistency in spelling and terminology among translators can be very effective.
