Utilizing Tools for Checks

Prevent errors with tool checks

In manual translation and brochure translation, errors in numbers, unit symbols, and standard phrases can lead to serious troubles and undermine user trust.
At Human Science, we use Trados and our proprietary proofreading tools to conduct checks on notation and terminology translations. We ensure that errors that may be missed by the human eye are effectively prevented.
After delivery, we do not impose the burden of formal checks on numbers and unit symbols on our customers.

Quality Control

At Human Science, we have a dual system of checks, both by people and by tools.

  • Are there any spelling mistakes?
  • Do the numbers in the original text match the numbers in the translated text?
  • Are the terms specified by the customer being used appropriately?

For points that are often overlooked with just visual checks, we conduct checks using Trados and our proprietary proofreading tools. This saves you the trouble of performing formal checks on numbers and unit symbols after delivery.

In particular, when a large volume of translation is divided among multiple translators in a short period of time, tools can be very effective in checking for consistency in notation and terminology among the translators.
