"Machine Translation in the Medical and Life Sciences Field - Current Status and Future Prospects" will be held.

 

The introduction of machine translation (MT) is progressing in domestic companies, primarily focusing on Western languages.

On the other hand, the structural difficulties of Japanese grammar pose a barrier, and many companies believe that the quality of machine translation from English to Japanese has not yet reached a sufficient level, making practical application difficult.

However, there are companies that are steadily achieving cost reduction and schedule shortening by utilizing machine translation.

What are the project conditions and workflows that have achieved such results?

 

This seminar focuses on translation in the medical and life sciences field (clinical and non-clinical trial reports, medical device manuals, academic papers, etc...).

We will introduce the steps for implementing machine translation in the medical and life sciences field, as well as the results of implementing machine translation at medical device manufacturers.
