Free Machine Translation Seminar on May 31, 2017 (Wednesday)
We will hold a seminar on "Support for the Introduction of Machine Translation to Realize Work Style Reform"!
To realize "work style reform," improving operational efficiency and productivity has become a major challenge for companies in various industries and sectors in Japan. In this context, as one of the initiatives for improving operational efficiency and productivity, the introduction of machine translation is also progressing in departments that create manuals and technical documents for domestic companies.
・We want to streamline the translation tasks that have been performed by in-house translators and improve productivity per person.
・I want to translate documents that have not been translated due to reasons such as short deadlines and large volumes.
・I want to spend time on higher value-added tasks instead of being overwhelmed by translation work.
We want to reduce costs and shorten lead times for translation work that is outsourced.
As a result of these needs, there is an increasing number of domestic companies introducing machine translation to improve and streamline their translation operations.
Recently, machine translation engines equipped with neural network mechanisms have emerged, attracting significant attention due to their dramatically improved translation accuracy. It has become quite feasible to reduce translation labor while maintaining the same quality as before. However, to effectively utilize machine translation and implement work style reforms, it is essential to conduct cost-effectiveness evaluations before implementation, design workflows, and build consensus among stakeholders.
In this seminar, we will explain how machine translation is being utilized in domestic companies and what steps should be taken to implement machine translation, aimed at representatives from companies considering the introduction of machine translation. We will introduce case studies of machine translation implementation in various companies. If you have considered implementing machine translation in the past but gave up midway, or if you have implemented it but were unable to achieve good results, please join us.
After the seminar, we will provide individual consultations as needed. Please check the "Request for Individual Consultation" box on the application form.
