Overview

Recently, the effectiveness of machine translation has been recognized, and it has started to be implemented in manuals and other materials. However, it is also true that many companies are still hesitant to adopt it due to various concerns.

In this presentation, we will address common questions regarding the introduction of machine translation, such as those often asked, while introducing case studies of machine translation implementation that our company has actually handled in domestic manufacturing companies.

  • - What should be prepared for the introduction?
  • ・Which machine translation engine should I choose?
  • ・Concern about the man-hours required for engine maintenance
  • ・How much corpus is needed to load into a statistics-based engine?
  • ・I cannot imagine how the current workflow will change.
  • ・Is the quality really not a problem?
  • ・How much cost benefit is there from implementing machine translation?

  • We welcome many participants, including those considering the introduction of machine translation and those who have implemented it but are not achieving the expected cost reduction effects.
