The JTF Translation Festival seminar on "Quality Management in Translation" has concluded successfully.

The 24th Translation Festival hosted by JTF (Japan Translation Federation) held on November 26, 2014 (Wednesday)


Creating a New Era of Translation: Quality Management Innovation - Setting Translation Quality Standards and Quality Management Processes Tailored to Diverse Needs and Content


The presentation has concluded successfully.

More than 100 representatives from manufacturers, production, and translation companies participated.



Participants' Voices

- The QA chart and sampling check standards were helpful.

・At the start of the project, it was good to reach an agreement on the quality level that the client and the translation company aim for, and to design the quality management process.

・It was good that the translators are categorized by evaluation.

・I wanted to incorporate the definition of quality requirements immediately.

・It was good that the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) was quantified and visualized clearly.
