The "Video Manual Creation" session at the TC Symposium 2013 has successfully concluded.

The special session "Introduction to Video Manuals: Scenario Writing from Scratch" at the TC Symposium 2013 (hosted by the General Incorporated Foundation Technical Communicators Association) held on August 27, 2013, concluded successfully.

TC Symposium

Among the special sessions, this became the most popular special session with 60 applicants for a capacity of 50 people.

In the seminar, we explained the characteristics of video manuals, production considerations/points, and techniques for scenario writing.

The explanations, especially about "how scenarios become videos" and "the differences between paper manuals and videos," were well received. Participants from manufacturers and production companies involved in manual creation asked many practical questions, such as "how to make corrections during video manual revisions" and "how to expand into multiple languages," and they listened attentively.

There have also been voices saying, 'We want a second installment next year.'

This seminar is scheduled to be held on December 12, hosted by the Japan Tech Center.

If you wish to participate in the seminar, please apply through the website of the organizing company, Japan Tech Center Co., Ltd.
