From the instructor
As domestic companies accelerate their overseas expansion, the demand for creating overseas documents that are easy to understand, low-cost, and efficient is increasing.
However, we hear many companies expressing concerns such as the following when it comes to creating documents for overseas markets.
・There are many incorrect or unnatural translations, requiring significant effort for checking and correction.
・There are constant complaints from the field that "overseas documents are difficult to understand."
Despite having manuals, user guides, and information posted on the website,
inquiries to the call center do not decrease.
・Translating and managing documents for overseas is taking too much cost and time.
・Quality management of increasing documents is not being performed.
In fact, many of the issues faced by domestic companies are
・Japanese documents are difficult to understand, and the quality of translation is declining.
Quality design for translation and the establishment of processes based on it have not been achieved.
It is due to two causes.
Therefore, in this course, to avoid failures in creating documents for overseas,
- Tips and know-how for writing and creating Japanese documents that are easy to translate
・Designing translation quality and building processes to eliminate "This is not what I expected" after translation
We will discuss these two themes, not only focusing on localized approaches such as adding simple check processes or introducing tools, but also explaining key points for optimizing the entire document creation process, from Japanese text creation to English and multilingual translation.
We will provide practical advice that can help solve current issues, based on insights gained from extensive experience in creating documents for overseas markets, while also introducing common pitfalls in document creation for domestic companies targeting international audiences.
