As the number of documents to be translated increases, deadlines and costs are being pressured to be reduced. In response to such situations, various manufacturers and translation companies are considering the introduction of machine translation.
The system used for machine translation processing is referred to as an "engine." Selecting the right engine is very important as the first step in implementing machine translation. Even though it is simply called an "engine," there are various characteristics such as the languages and fields it excels in, costs, and compatibility with other tools.
We often receive inquiries about which engine is the best, but the truth is that it is not a simple matter of determining which engine is good or bad. The optimal engine varies depending on the project conditions and the content of the documents to be translated. To leverage the benefits of machine translation, it is necessary to choose the most suitable engine for the project.

That said, with various manufacturers in Japan and abroad producing different engines, it can be difficult to choose the optimal engine.
In this seminar, we will discuss how to choose the most suitable engine for your project.
From a neutral position that is not an engine development manufacturer,
"BeGlobal", "The Translation", "Microsoft Translator", "KantanMT", etc.
We will introduce the features of various engines currently on the market with specific examples and show the results of quality comparisons.
In addition, based on examples where we provided consulting from the engine selection stage, we will answer various questions regarding engine selection.
Furthermore, you will deepen your understanding by actually experiencing engine selection as part of the workshop.
