*This seminar has ended.
The next event is scheduled for June. Details will be posted in the News & Releases as soon as they are finalized.
Second "Resolving Questions!
Seminar on Selecting Machine Translation Engines Taught by Professionals"
As the number of documents to be translated increases, deadlines and costs are being pressured to be reduced. In response to such situations, various manufacturers and translation companies are considering the introduction of machine translation.
The first step in implementing machine translation is selecting the software known as the "engine." Even though it is called an "engine," its characteristics vary widely, including the languages and fields it excels in, costs, and compatibility with other tools.
To harness the benefits of machine translation, it is essential to choose the optimal engine that fits the project.
[List of Machine Translation Engines (Example)]
That said, with manufacturers in Japan and abroad producing all kinds of engines, it can be difficult to choose the right engine.
In this seminar, we will discuss how to choose the most suitable engine for your project.
From a neutral position that is not an engine development manufacturer,
"BeGlobal", "The Translation", "Microsoft Translator", "KantanMT", etc.
We will introduce the features of various engines currently on the market with specific examples and show the results of quality comparisons.
Additionally, you can deepen your understanding through case studies and workshops.
This is the second installment of the machine translation seminar, but the content is understandable even for those who did not participate in the first installment. While continuous participation deepens understanding, attending just once is also perfectly fine.
