April 26, 2017 (Wednesday)
We will present on the "Possibilities of Utilizing Neural Machine Translation Engines in Industrial Translation" at TAUS.
In 2016, major companies such as Google and Microsoft released neural machine translation services. Our company measured how much translation costs and duration can be reduced when implementing neural machine translation in actual projects. We also identified the issues with neural machine translation, considered solutions, and implemented them as a solution. This presentation will discuss the quality of neural machine translation, the effects of cost and duration reduction, as well as the issues and solutions.
(TAUS stands for Translation Automation Users Society, and it is a membership organization composed of members from companies related to translation. It promotes innovations such as machine translation and cloud translation.)
