[Seminar] Fellow Academy "Marketing Translation" Course (3 sessions held on 2017/3/1, 15, 29)

On March 1 (Wednesday), March 15 (Wednesday), and March 29 (Wednesday), 2017, the Fellow Academy will hold a "Marketing Translation" course in three sessions.

There are trial opportunities for outstanding individuals! Let's aim to secure work in the high-demand field of marketing translation.

Marketing refers to a series of activities in which a company explores market trends and customer needs, and based on that, plans and executes beneficial sales strategies.

Documents generated from such activities often carry a strong message, requiring not only the fundamental principles of practical translation—"clear, accurate, and concise" Japanese—but also the ability to express products and services attractively in Japanese.

This field, led by the IT industry, has seen an increasing demand in recent years, but the reality is that there is a shortage of translators who can meet this demand.

In this course, we will cover IT-related topics and provide guidance on concepts that can be applied to marketing translation in any industry.

In the class, we will cover the basics such as the characteristics and purposes of marketing translation, as well as techniques for creating translations that are "easy to understand and read," "appealing," and "high quality."

The assignments are 100 to 200 words each, and we also work on practicing "rewriting," which is essential for producing translations that are at a professional level.

The translations you submit will be reviewed by the instructor and distributed anonymously to everyone. We will highlight excellent translations and common mistakes, providing explanations so that you can not only understand your areas for improvement but also broaden your range of expressions.

And in the final episode, we will discuss the real stories from the field, such as the quality of marketing translations that clients seek and what kind of translators they want to hire. This is essential listening for those who want to start working in this field.

In addition, through each assignment submission, outstanding participants may have the opportunity to challenge the trial at Human Science Co., Ltd. or become registered translators as immediate assets. Don't miss this chance to secure marketing translation work!
