Job Description

  • This project involves translation review work for medical device manuals and IT product manuals translated from Japanese to English and multiple other languages.

    Translation checks using tools, layout checks, and other necessary verification tasks during the project process.

    The main language we work with is from Japanese to English, but we also have projects that expand from English to FIGSR (French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian) and other Eastern and Northern European languages.

    We welcome those who want to work using English, including people in their 20s and 30s, as well as seniors.
    * English is used for communication and work instructions with translators.

    This job is only on weekdays. You can also secure long holidays such as Golden Week and New Year's holidays. It is an ideal job for those who want to work steadily while valuing their private life.

    *Due to the possibility of working from home during the state of emergency, we are looking for individuals who have an internet-connected environment at home.

Eligibility

    ・Ability to understand English instructions and emails
    ・Ability to input documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

    ・Those who can work while communicating with various people both inside and outside the company
    ・Candidates with practical experience in the translation industry
    ・Those with experience as a translation coordinator
    ・Candidates with experience or knowledge of translation support tools (such as TRADOS)

Salary

  • Hourly wage: 1500 yen / Monthly income example: 240,000 yen (based on 8 hours per day, 20 days per month)
    Commuting expenses paid separately (up to 24,000 yen per month)

Work Location

  • Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo (Shinjuku Dai-ichi Seimei Building)
  • *10 minutes on foot from JR Shinjuku Station
  •  Toei Oedo Line, Tocho-mae Station, 2 minutes on foot
  •  5-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line
  •  Basic remote work (with one in-office day per month)
There is a possibility of being stationed at the Shinjuku headquarters or at a client site within Tokyo.

Working Hours

  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • ・Core time 10:00 to 15:00
Work hours and number of working days are negotiable.
There may be overtime during busy periods.
