"Machine Translation Implementation Support Seminar ~Roadmap and Key Points for Implementation~"

Will be held!

With the rise of Neural Machine Translation (NMT), the accuracy of Machine Translation (MT, automatic translation) has greatly improved, and more and more companies are introducing machine translation for the translation of documents such as manuals and technical materials. However, even if machine translation is introduced, we often hear that companies are not able to achieve sufficient results due to the lack of consideration for long-term operational perspectives during the initial implementation stage.
No matter how much the accuracy of machine translation improves, in order to achieve continuous productivity improvement while meeting quality requirements, it is important not only to simply introduce machine translation, but also to design and verify quality and processes from a long-term operational perspective before introducing machine translation.

Therefore, in this seminar, we will provide specific points that companies considering the introduction of machine translation or those already implementing it should consider during the machine translation implementation phase.

・I don't know which machine translation engine to choose from the many available options.

・What specific preparations should be made for machine translation operations?

・I don't know how to establish translation quality standards for machine translation.

- Is it necessary to improve the original text when introducing machine translation?

・How should I instruct from the perspective of correcting in post-edit?

We will introduce how to choose a machine translation engine, how to consider quality standards, and points for creating pre-edit and post-edit guidelines while showing a roadmap from introduction to operation.
We will also introduce case studies from domestic companies that have successfully implemented machine translation. We hope that those who are working towards implementing machine translation but are unsure of specific points, or those who have already implemented it but are not effectively operating it, will join us.

After the seminar, we will be happy to provide individual consultations according to your requests. Please check the "Individual Consultation Request" box on the application form.

Features

  • Introducing the roadmap for implementing machine translation
  • Here, we will introduce the specific points that should be considered in the roadmap and initial stages of introducing machine translation, and how to proceed with the introduction. You can get an overall image of the process of introducing machine translation.

  • Explaining the key points for successful implementation of machine translation
  • To achieve cost reduction, shortened timeframes, and improved productivity by implementing machine translation, we will provide detailed explanations on how to choose a machine translation engine, consider quality standards, and create guidelines for pre-editing and post-editing. This will clarify the points to focus on before implementation.

  • Introducing detailed case studies of successful implementation of machine translation in companies.
  • We will introduce the efforts and results of companies that have actually introduced machine translation according to the roadmap. By learning about challenges and specific initiatives at other companies, you can gain insights for introducing machine translation in your own company.
