Job Description

  • 【Target Content】
    Online help, manuals, user interfaces, PowerPoint, websites, e-learning, etc.
    【Main Tasks】
    ・Correction of errors in English interpretation and technical errors in translations
    ・Proofreading, editing, and refinement of translations (according to skill level)
    ・Feedback and training for translators
    ・Quality management tasks for specific clients
    In recent years, it has become necessary to gather various information in translation and create accurate and easy-to-understand translations based on correct information. Not only large projects but also small-scale updates occur frequently, requiring translation companies to respond in an agile manner, necessitating constant schedule management and prioritization while working. Additionally, due to the nature of the work, it is essential to engage with various stakeholders and progress the work while keeping an overall perspective.

Eligibility

  • [Required]
    ・Approximately 3 years of experience in translation or review
    ・English proficiency equivalent to a TOEIC score of 800
    ・Native Japanese speaker or possess equivalent Japanese language skills

Desired Experience and Skills

  • ・Basic knowledge of computers (hardware/software) and IT-related fields (practical experience is a plus)
    ・Experience in translation and review in the marketing field
    ・Experience and knowledge of Mac/Apple products
    ・Knowledge of machine learning/AI
    ・Knowledge of app development/programming
    ・Practical experience with CAT tools
    ・Willingness to learn new translation projects and unfamiliar tools

Expected Annual Income

  • 4 million yen to 5.5 million yen
  • *The expected annual income includes allowances for overtime and other factors.

  • Bonus

Work Location

  • Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo (Shinjuku Dai-ichi Seimei Building)

  •  5-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line
  •  Basic remote work (with one in-office day per month)

Working Hours

  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
