Job Description

  • 【Target Content】
    Online Help, Manuals, User Interfaces, PowerPoint, Websites, e-Learning, etc.
    【Main Tasks】
    ・Correction of technical errors in English interpretation and translation
    ・Proofreading, editing, and improving expressions in translations (according to skills)
    ・Providing feedback and training to translators
    ・Quality control for specific clients
    In recent years, collecting various information and creating accurate and easy-to-understand translations based on correct information has been required in translation. Not only large projects, but also frequent updates occur, and translation companies are required to respond agilely, so it is necessary to manage schedules and prioritize work. In addition, in the course of work, it is necessary to work with various stakeholders, so it is necessary to understand the whole picture while proceeding with the work.

Eligibility

  • [Required]
    ・At least 3 years of experience in translation or review
    ・English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC score of 800
    ・Native Japanese speaker or equivalent Japanese language ability

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • ・Computer (hardware/software) and IT-related basic knowledge (practical experience is preferred)
    ・Translation and review experience in the marketing field
    ・Experience and knowledge in using Mac/Apple products
    ・Knowledge of machine learning/AI
    ・Knowledge of app development/programming
    ・Practical experience with CAT tools
    ・Motivation to learn new translation projects and unfamiliar tools

Estimated Annual Income

  • 4 million yen to 5.5 million yen
  • ※The estimated annual income includes allowances for overtime, etc.
